Apologies - no photo this week since I was out of town... I'll try and think of something extra to do for next week!

05 : First winter frost

It's been below freezing all weekend, so lots of frost shots of what's left of the vegetation out front. Love the little blooms that get the frost around its edges (top left) and the Christmas light on the Japanese maple. On the bottom is a plant out front that really has a neat texture when it gets frost on it... not sure why it does it in that pattern but sure makes for an interesting photo!

04 : Leaves and sunflower stems

Had a few days of sun over the Thanksgiving holiday, so went our and got some crisp pictures of the leaves. The top left is a sunflower stem, but the top right is a leaf fallen onto our spa cover, and the bottom is from that big leafy plant in our front yard... love the texture with the brown spots on it!

03 : Leaves and petals

Not much left blooming nowadays... most of the sunflowers are gone (like on the left!) but some still are holding out (top right.) No leaves left on the trees out front... seems to have all fallen on the back deck!

02 : Wet leaves and dried sunflower

Another wet outing, but managed to get a little sun one day. Figured I'd better shoot the leaves while they're still around, as well as what's left of the sunflowers.

01 : Rainy Sunday

Pretty dreary out most of the weekend, but the sun did come out for a short time on Sunday. It had rained most of the morning, but I managed to get around to the side yard during a clearing for some shots of the remaining sunflowers and leaves on the trees.
